About Us
Andrew Bell
Hi, I'm Andrew an award winning travel photographer, based in Dorset, England.

My style is relaxed and simple, I like to do as little editing and post production to my images as possible, preferring to show things as they really are.

I shoot mostly street and travel photography in a documentary and editorial style, but also create portraits and commercial images either in the studio or at client locations.

My photography highlights include shooting the Rolling Stones iconic concert in Havana, capturing Holi Festival in a remote village in Nepal and trekking above the Arctic Circle in mid-winter; chasing the Northern Lights.

My work has been featured in local, national and international press and publications and has been exhibited locally in the UK. A project I worked on collaboratively with Goldsmiths University & Magnum Photos formed part of an exhibition at Tate Britain in London. Some of my images are also held at The National Archives as part of their "Everyday Lives" series.

I am now mostly taking pictures with my iPhone; I truly believe that in most instances, modern smartphones are the only camera you need.

Here's a selfie of me carrying a carpet,
because you take yourself too seriously!

Upcoming Holidays
Overview
An editorial and documentary photography holiday...

The focus of this tour will be on creating a photo-journalism project documenting everyday life in Cuba.

We will visit three towns, Havana, Santa Clara and Trinidad; each offering a distinctly different perspective on life in Cuba.
In Havana, we'll compare and contrast the dusty backstreets of the old town with modern architecture and regenerated areas, visit one of the most famous boxing gyms in the world and learn about the history and culture of the city.
Santa Clara is a town of learning and rebellion, home to the second largest university in Cuba and also the site of Che Guevara's most famous battle and mausoleum.
Our final stop is Trinidad, a UNESCO World Heritage site, barely changed by the passing of time. Cobbled streets lead you out to rolling countryside and short drive will get us to the beach resort of Playa Ancon.

Throughout the trip you will receive expert advice and guidance on how to visualise, plan and shoot your own photo-project.

As we travel through different parts of Cuba you'll have the opportunity to meet and photograph people from all walks of life and tell their stories through your lens...

Overview
Cocktails and Cowboys

Our signature two location Cuba trips takes us from Havana to Trinidad...

We start by exploring the capital city; from the dusty backstreets of Old Havana, to the famous Malecon sea wall and everything in between. We'll visit some of the better known locations such as the Capitol building and the Museum of The Revolution as well as some less known parts, including the parks and gardens.

Next we head out of town to the UNESCO World Heritage town of Trinidad, where cowboys on horseback, cobbled streets and Caribbean sunsets await.
Here we'll take a horseback trip through the coffee and sugar plantations to a hidden waterfall and sample the incredible music and nightlife of the Casa de la Musica!

Throughout the trip we'll be delving into the arts, music and history of this incredible country, meeting some wonderful people, enjoying a few cocktails, some great nights out and, of course, taking some fantastic photographs!
